Rosen Plevneliev is the fourth democratically elected President of Bulgaria. He was born on May 14 1964 in the town of Gotse Delchev to a family of teachers.
After the 2009 parliamentary elections, he held the position of Minister of Regional Development and Public Works. In the 2011 presidential elections, he was elected President of the Republic of Bulgaria. Fluent in German and English. Married with three children.
Dimitar is a senior policy fellow and head of ECFR's office in Sofia. He is also affiliated with South East European Studies at Oxford (SEESOX), St Antony’s College, Oxford. From 2006-2010, Dimitar was a research fellow at Oxford's European Studies Centre and held a lectureship in International Relations at Worcester College, Oxford, and a visiting professorship at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. He is a region head for Central and Eastern Europe at Oxford Analytica, a leading consultancy on current political and economic affairs.
Prof.dr.eng. Nikolay Mihaylov is Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Trace Group Hold" PLC and Head of the Department "Roads" at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG). Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria. Co-Chair of the Committee is "Investment Projects and Infrastructure" at the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria. Winner of the "Burov" Industrial Management in 2010, honored with the Society of Highway Engineers and Consultants - "Engineer of the Year 2012."
He graduated from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in "Transportation Engineering". Further specialized "Design and construction of roads" of the University, as well as "Management and business businesses" at the University of Economics in Varna. There is a thesis on "Economic efficiency of capital investments in road construction."
Katerina Kraeva is a Senior Associate at Wolf Theiss with over thirteen years practice in Bulgaria. Her career has involved advisory roles in a wide range of cross-border and local lending projects. She has an extensive track record advising both lenders and borrowers on acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance, and asset based lending and restructurings. She has also advised on regulatory issues in the financial sector legal framework including on acquisitions, sales, operations establishment, and regulatory compliance and licensing. Her expertise also covers aircraft financing, Islamic finance and financial derivatives transactions.
Konstantin Delisivkov has a Master degree in Energy Economy and Diplomacy from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and the University of Bodo, Norway. He is a PhD student in Economics and management by sectors (energy) in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Sofia University "Sv. Kliment Ohridsky". He participates actively in the development of the regulatory framework for the liberalization of the electricity and natural gas market. In 2012 he led a project to explore the potential for gasification of Central Srednogorie. Since 2010 Mr. Delisivkov participates actively in the process of formation, representation and protection of interests of industries in Bulgaria associated with high energy consumptin and holds the position of Executive Secretary of BFIEC. Since March 2012 Mr. Delisivkov is Executive Director of BFIEC.
Ivanka Dilovska is Chairman of the Management Board of the Energy Management Institute since it was established in June 2010. Her extended professional experience in the energy sector began in ENERGOPROEKT JSC and afterwards she took over managing positions in the energy ministry as Director of directions for energy strategy, projects, markets and state governance (1993-1996, 2002-2005, 2007-2010) and Deputy Minister of Energy (1996, 2005-2006). Major areas of interest and responsibilities during these periods are the sector policies and strategies, energy balances, statistics, analysis and prognosis; energy markets and projects; regulation; privatization and restructuring of the branch.
Mrs. Dilovska has a master degree in Business Administration and Electronic Processing of Information from the University of National and World Economy.
Dobromir Simidchiev has a Masters degree in Water treatment from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and a MBA diploma.
By 2011 he has engineering services and assets management director, Sofiyska voda AD.
Iliya Iliev has graduated from the former Higher Institute of Architecture and Construction in 1984. He has worked for the construction and assembly plant in the town of Sliven; as a designer at ‘Low construction’ department, Promstroyproject, as well as geodesy assistant at ‘Transport construction’ department in the technical university ‘Todor Kableshkov’.
Since 1992 to date he’s been managing TRANSGEO OOD.
Mr. Iliev is Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Consulting Companies in Railway Construction (BACCRC).
He is member of the association ‘Society of Railway Engineers’, the Chamber of Engineers in Investment Design, the Chamber of Geodetic Engineers. Iliya Iliev is also a member of the board of managers and council of the Union for Economic Initiative.
